CHRISTMAS CARDS SYNOPSIS
|
While starting a new public relations firm with her friend Claire, Annie Chambers helps her grandmother Greta adjust to life at the Treetops Retirement Community. Annie hopes the holiday season will bring a fresh start for both of them.
While settling Greta into her new home, Annie crosses paths with Michael Palumbo, a devoted single dad running his family’s beloved restaurant. Their first meeting at a Christmas tree farm is less than magical, but soon Annie and Michael are brought together again when he considers hiring Annie’s firm to help reimagine his restaurant. As their business relationship grows, so does their personal connection. Meanwhile, Greta begins to find joy in her new surroundings, especially when she strikes up an unexpected friendship with Michael’s grandfather Frank. Bonding over card games and shared holiday traditions, Greta and Frank slowly discover the possibility of love later in life. When a snowstorm locks Annie and Michael at Treetops to help organize activities for the residents, their growing closeness is tested. But with a little encouragement from Greta and Frank, who know something about second chances, Annie and Michael find their way back to each other in time for Christmas. On Christmas Eve, surrounded by family, friends, and the glow of holiday traditions, Annie and Michael finally confess their love. Inspired by her granddaughter’s happiness, Greta accepts Frank’s invitation to celebrate together. One year later, Michael’s newly reimagined restaurant serves as the backdrop for the couples' holiday double wedding. |
