SCHOOL BELLS & SLEIGH BELLS SYNOPSIS

Both single, best friends Giovanni Rossi and Marci Morgan decide to forego the hype of the holiday season and celebrate Christmas together in a low-key manner. However, when Gio introduces his boss Clint Anderson to Marci, there is an immediate attraction. After Marci insists she has no interest in dating, Gio leaves her coffee shop and heads home, nearly bumping into Javier Garcia, who enters the shop inquiring about the "help wanted" sign in the window.

When Marci and Gio get together to bake Christmas cookies, Gio shares an old recipe that belonged to his mother, with whom he has not spoken in years. Marci loves the cookies and asks if she can sell them at her shop. ​When Gio stops by later to see how the cookies are selling, he learns that Javi now works for Marci. Clearly attracted to one another, the two men interact pleasantly, until Javi reveals that his cookies are outselling Gio’s.

Then Clint arrives with news that his school's music teacher has broken her hip and will be out of school until after the holidays. Clint is desperate to find a replacement because the students' Christmas concert is only days away, so Marci volunteers to help.

As Christmas approaches, Clint and Marci spend more time together as do Gio and Javi. In fact, Gio shares with Javi the reason why his mother and he no longer talk. However, when Javi observes Gio talking to his ex in the school parking lot, he assumes they are back together and loses all hope for a holiday romance.

Under Marci's direction, the Christmas concert is a huge success, yet Gio's attempt to talk to Javi after the performance fails. As he is about to head home, Gio is stunned by a woman standing at the back of the venue: his mother. She reveals that she sought out her son after receiving a phone call from Javi.

Tears in his eyes, Gio rushes to find Javi. Standing in the falling snow, Javi shares what he saw in the parking lot; however, Gio clarifies what actually happened. They finally share a warm embrace as Marilyn watches from a distance. Together, Gio, Javi, Marci, and Clint spend Christmas Eve together with a new understanding of love, family, and the holidays.
